Lower Paleolithic sites in the Ganga–Yamuna Plains

The apparent scarcity of Lower Paleolithic sites in the Ganga–Yamuna Plains may reflect archaeological invisibility rather than an actual absence of early human occupation.” Critically examine this statement by analysing the geomorphological, geological, taphonomic and anthropogenic factors responsible for the limited archaeological record of the region.
